Scottish Half Marathon 21'
After I completed the Edinburgh Half Marathon in 2019, I told myself during my restless sleep that 'I'm not running another marathon again'... But one year later I had the urge to raise more money and so decided to run another half marathon and before I know it, I was at the starting line of the Scottish Half Marathon.

The weather was great, dry but cool. My (dodgy) hip started to ache and I was struggling. I powered along the beautiful East Coast past Port Seaton and Prestonpans and finally finished at Musselburgh Race Course, with a smile on my face!

I didn't manage to get a PB, but it was (mostly) fun and despite my achy hip, I finished the Scottish Half Marathon 2021 with a time of 2 hours 58 minutes all in aid of The Eve Appeal.
